Universidad de Córdoba (UCO)
University of Córdoba is an educational institution based in Córdoba, Spain. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the humanities, social sciences, health sciences, natural sciences and engineering. Although it was founded in 1972, it is heiress of the Free University of Cordoba, wich worked in the province in the late nineteenth century. The University of Córdoba stands out for its specialization in natural sciences, offering degrees in chemistry, biology, environmental sciences and agronomic and forestry engineering. He alsa emphasizes in health sciences, offering degrees in nursing and medicine, being closely linked to the Reina Sofía University Hospital.

She holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Seville, an expert in popularization and scientific culture from the University of Oviedo and a master's degree in Contemporary History from the University of Seville. Dedicated to scientific communication since 1997, she promoted the creation of the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit of the University of Cordoba in 2011, from which she has promoted the design of the institution's scientific communication and dissemination strategy. She is currently the technical coordinator of UCC+i and secretary of the Scientific Culture and Dissemination Subcommittee of the Governing Council of the University of Córdoba.
