Cesare Ronchi, Senior Purchasing Manager -durum wheat and semolina at Barilla G & R Fratelli SpA. He is also responsible for Barilla Sustainable Agriculture Project, working on the quality and sustainability of cereals (durum wheat, common wheat and rye) and tomato in collaboration with various organizations in Europe, Turkey and North America. Prior to the current position, he also served in the Department of Research and Development Barilla for 5 years. Cesare has been with Barilla since 1997. Cesare graduated in Agricultural Sciences at University of Tuscia - Viterbo, Italy. Simone Agostinelli, Sustainable Farming Professional at Barilla G & R Fratelli SpA, is coordinator for Barilla Sustainable Agriculture Projects and activities of the main agricultural raw materials bought from Barilla in all geographies of the world.
In 2009 Simone graduated in Agricultural Science and Technology at Polytechnic University of Marche, he made afterwards some brief experiences as quality technician in different labs and companies. In November 2010 he joined in a elevator company as Agronomic and Quality Control Manager. Starting from May 2016 he had been working in a seed company as Production and Quality Manager.
